Croatia Airlines permits both name updates and name changes under specific conditions and associated fees.
Definitions:
- Name Update: Minor corrections such as:
- Correction of up to three characters in the passenger's name.
- Swapping the first and last name (e.g., changing "Joseph/Jansen Mr" to "Jansen/Joseph Mr").
- Updating the title (e.g., from "Ms" to "Mr").
- Adding the date of birth in the name field.
- Name Change: More substantial modifications, including:
- Changing the passenger to a different individual.
- Inserting an additional surname or middle name.
- Changing a nickname to the full legal name.
- Legal name changes due to marriage or divorce.
Fees and Conditions:
Before Ticketing:
- Name Update: Free of charge.
- Name Change: €20 fee; for itineraries solely within Croatia, the fee is €15.
After Ticketing:
- Fees vary based on the fare type and whether the itinerary includes international sectors:
- Domestic Flights (within Croatia):
- FlyEasy: Name Update €13; Name Change €30.
- FlyOpti: Name Update €7; Name Change €15.
- FlyFlexi, FlyBWise, Busy, Groups, Reward: Name Update and Name Change are free.
- ID/AD/ZED, IT/NEGO/SEAMEN: Changes require a waiver.
- International Flights:
- FlyEasy: Name Update €70; Name Change €120.
- FlyOpti: Name Update €40; Name Change €70.
- FlyFlexi, FlyBWise, Busy, Groups, Reward: Name Update and Name Change are free.
- ID/AD/ZED, IT/NEGO/SEAMEN: Changes require a waiver.
Important Notes:
- All name changes or updates must be completed before the journey commences and will apply to all flights on the ticket.
- For tickets combining different fare types, the higher fee applies.
- If a waiver is required for your fare type, contact your Croatia Airlines Country Manager.
- Fees are non-refundable, even if the ticket is later refunded.
