Caribbean Airlines Cancellation Policy

Caribbean Airlines allows cancellations for all bookings, including refundable and non-refundable tickets. The cancellation policy depends on the type of ticket, route, and how far in advance you cancel.

Cancellation deadlines

• Domestic flights: Cancel at least 2 hours before departure
• International flights: Cancel at least 4 hours before departure

Refunds

• Non-refundable tickets: Caribbean Airlines will refund the tax portion, but not the fare
• Emergency cancellations: You may request a refund with proof of the emergency

Lite

The cheapest fare class, which is non-refundable and has no free checked bags

Classic and Flex

Offer a larger free baggage allowance and a larger portion of your purchase refunded in case of cancellation

Travel insurance

Caribbean Airlines recommends travel insurance with the “CFAR” option (“Cancel For Any Reason”) to cover unexpected situations.
