Air North Name Change Policy

Air North, Yukon's Airline, has specific policies regarding name corrections and changes on flight bookings:

Name Corrections:

Minor Corrections: If you notice a typographical error in your name on the booking, it's crucial to address it promptly. Air North emphasizes that the name on your ticket must match your government-issued identification. Discrepancies may lead to boarding denial. If you discover a misspelling, contact Air North's reservations department immediately for assistance.

Name Changes:

General Bookings: Air North's standard policy does not permit transferring tickets to another individual by changing the name on a booking. Tickets are generally non-transferable.

Group Bookings: For group travel, name changes are allowed up to 24 hours prior to departure. Name lists for group bookings are due 14 business days before departure.

Air Passes: Certain Air Passes permit name changes for a fee of $125.00 + GST ($131.25). However, such changes can only occur after all existing bookings under the current name are completed or if no active bookings exist.

Important Considerations:

Identification Requirements: Ensure that the name on your booking matches exactly with your government-issued identification to avoid travel complications.

Timeliness: Address any name discrepancies as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for processing.

Fees: Be aware that fees may apply for name changes, especially in the context of group bookings or specific Air Passes.
