Air Astana Name Change Policy

Air Astana permits corrections to passenger names on tickets under specific conditions:

Misspelled Names: If your first or last name is misspelled or the order is incorrect (the last name should precede the first name), contact your original place of purchase to request a correction.

Name Changes Due to Legal Reasons: If you've legally changed your name (e.g., due to marriage or divorce) and your ticket reflects your previous name, you should:

• Contact the place of purchase to update your booking.
• Provide official documents confirming the name change, such as a marriage certificate or court order.
• If you purchased your ticket online, via the Air Astana mobile app, or if the agency is unavailable, fill out the web form on Air Astana's website at least three working days before departure, attaching scanned copies of your new passport and the name change document.

Nomad Club Profile Updates: To update your name or surname in your Nomad Club profile due to a mistake or legal change, submit a request through the provided link, attaching your passport, name change certificate, and membership number.

Please note that name corrections are only possible on flights operated by Air Astana. There is no extra charge for correcting a name or surname error.

For group bookings, name changes are allowed with certain limitations.

Ensure that all name correction requests are submitted at least 24 hours before departure to allow for processing.
