Avelo Airlines' flight change policy varies based on your booking date and whether you added the AveloFlex option. Here's an overview:
Flight Change Policy
With AveloFlex ($5 per flight segment):
- Change or cancel your flight up to 15 minutes before departure without any fees.
Without AveloFlex:
- Change/cancel fees are based on how close to departure you make the change:
- More than 60 days before departure: No fee
- 8–60 days before departure: 25% of the reservation value
- 24 hours–7 days before departure: 50% of the reservation value
- 15 minutes–24 hours before departure: 75% of the reservation value
- Less than 15 minutes before departure: No changes or cancellations permitted; all charges are forfeited
How to Change Your Flight
Use Avelo's Manage Trips page to change your reservation online and avoid a $25 charge per seated traveler for changes made through the Customer Support Center.
Refunds and Travel Funds
- Full Refund: If you cancel within 24 hours of booking and at least 7 days before departure, you're eligible for a full refund to your original payment method.
- Avelo Travel Funds: Cancellations made outside the 24-hour window result in Avelo Travel Funds, which can be used for future Avelo flights.
