Gulf Air Name Change Policy

Gulf Air's policies regarding name changes and corrections on tickets are as follows:

Name Corrections:

Minor Corrections: Amendments to titles (e.g., changing "Mr" to "Mrs") and corrections due to genuine spelling mistakes (up to 3 characters) are permitted free of charge.

Procedure: Such corrections must be followed by the reissuance of the electronic ticket (E-ticket).

Name Changes:

Name Swapping: Transferring a ticket to another person (name swapping) is not permitted.

Extensive Corrections: If a name correction exceeds 3 characters, it is considered a significant change and may not be allowed.

Fees:

A fee of USD $100 is applicable for name corrections that require reissuance of the E-ticket. This fee should be reflected in the tax code as "DV."

Additional Requirements:

• A copy of the passenger's passport and other applicable documents should be submitted to process the correction.
• The request must pertain to the same passenger as named on the original ticket.
