Vueling Airlines Flight Change Policy

Vueling Airlines offers passengers the flexibility to modify their bookings, including changes to flight dates, times, and passenger names. Here's an overview of their flight change policies:

Flight Date and Time Changes:

Standard Policy:

• Passengers can change the date and time of their flight up to 2 hours before departure through Vueling's website or mobile app.
• Changes apply to all passengers in the booking; partial changes for individual passengers are not permitted.
• Changes to the origin and/or destination or the selected fare type are not allowed.

Fees:

• From €50 per passenger per flight segment if more than 15 days remain until departure.
• From €60 per passenger per flight segment if 15 days or fewer remain until departure.
• In both cases, any fare difference will also be charged.

Flex Pack Service:

• Allows cancellation of the booking up to 48 hours before departure, with the amount refunded as Flight Credit.
• Permits a one-time change of flight date or time up to 2 hours before departure without paying the standard change fee; only the fare difference applies.
• The change affects all passengers in the booking.

Grace Period:

If a mistake is made during booking, passengers have 24 hours from the time of purchase to change the date or time without incurring the change fee; however, any fare difference will still apply.

Name Changes:

Passengers can change the name on a booking up to 2 hours before the flight's departure, provided none of the flights in the booking have been completed.

A change fee plus any fare difference will be charged.

Exceptional Circumstances:

In cases such as illness, surgery, high-risk pregnancy, or court summons affecting a passenger, changes to the flight date or time can be requested.

Passengers must submit supporting documents through Vueling's website within one month of the travel date; only the fare difference will be charged.

Additional Considerations:

When changing a flight, Vueling will allocate a similar seat to the one originally chosen. If no seat is available in the same category, a seat in the next higher category will be offered.

Additional services (e.g., baggage, priority boarding) remain unchanged when making a flight change.
